The Senufo Female Statue carved by a Senufo artist, the Master of Sikasso from Ivory Coast in the 19th or early 20th century.
As at 2014, it was sold at a world record price of 12,037,000 USD at Sotheby’s, New York for African arts.
The Senufo female statue is one of the most iconic African sculptures.
